买的车子只有一把钥匙+一个remote。车钥匙可以在walmart配，这个remote就不那么容易了。不过最近刚好在车版上看到有些人成功的进行了复制，不觉手痒，于是乎付诸实践。

首先要买一个remote，amazon上比较贵，60几刀，Ebay上比较便宜，十几块钱就能拍一个或者干脆买一个。我买的那家RemoteSupermarket还是不错的，shipping速度很快，写信回复的速度也很快，值得推荐。但是他们给的programming instruction是错的。但是这个不要紧，网上有很多流传，自己搜一个即可。我搜到了至少3个版本，打算一个个的尝试。比较lucky，第一个版本就成功了。programming的过程动作要连贯，一气呵成，总共一分钟都用不了，呵呵。

Please follow the instructions step-by-step in order for the remote programming to work. These instructions are useful for 1999-2004 Honda Civic. This procedure clears the transmitter codes and creates new ones, so you must program all remotes at the same time, even if one or more is already working.

• Enter the car and close all doors.

• Each of the following steps must be completed within five seconds of completing the previous step. If you take longer or make a mistake, start the entire procedure over again.

• Insert the key into the ignition, and hold one remote in your left hand. Whenever the instructions say to press the LOCK button, you should press the lock button on the remote for about a second and then release it.

• Perform each of the following three steps in order, then repeat all three steps two more times, for a total of three times each:

           1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, marked II.
           2. Press the LOCK button.
           3. Turn the ignition switch to the Off position, marked I.

• Do this three times!

• Next, turn the ignition switch to the ON position (II) for a fourth time.

• Press the LOCK button again. The door locks should now make a cycling sound, indicating that the system has entered Programming Mode.

• Press the LOCK button one more time to program this remote. If you have other remotes to program, press the LOCK button on each one in turn. The door locks should make the cycling sound after you press LOCK on each remote. You may program up to three remotes, and they must all be programmed within ten seconds of each other.

• Turn the ignition off and remove the key. The remotes are now programmed and may be tested.

• If you've got a trunk/hatch release, hold the button for this function for a few seconds.

I've been practicing driving for like a month and I got my DL recently. Thanks dear V for teaching me how to drive. I'm your first graduated student. I know you are proud of me, hehe.

Those days of practicing are my good memories. Also, wonderful food each time (sichuanese, taiwanese, thai, india, italian, tex-mex).

剧情回顾：买二手车，车主有lien，没有title，坚持要用我们的钱还lien。

看来大家对这件事的看法还真的很不一致。但是都承认风险的存在性，尤其像我们这种lien holder不在local的情况。最终放弃了可爱的小雪。

后来，经过若干次挑选，最终从一个印度仁兄那里搞了个DFBB。车子年头有点久，但是考虑到DFBB的名声在车版上横扫一片，再加上每次看车实在很烦，就出手买下了。

回想整个买车经历，其实还是很easy的。因为害怕上当，于是便以一套最保守的标准来筛选。别看网上广告甚多，能留下来的没有几个。总结起来，这套标准包括：

1. dealer的
2. 超过8万迈的或者2002年以前的（米国车）
3. 超过10万迈的或者2000年以前的（DFBB）
4. 价格太便宜或者太贵的（严重偏离KBB）
5. title不在车主手中的
6. 有lien或loan的
7. carfax里有事故的
8. carfax里面没啥记录的
9. carfax里车主太多的
10. carfax前任车主任期太短的
11. carfax有过很长时间的rental或者lease的
12. 物理距离离我们太远的

按此标准，剩下的车再进行实地考察，就差不多了。

上周末实验室停电，周一一来就发现电脑开不开机了。一按开机键就有莫名响声，风扇全功率运行，声音也不小。但是没有任何显示信号，完全黑屏。换句话说，连bios都进不了。

然后设想把硬盘拔下来备份数据。发现我的硬盘是sata的，而颗颗的电脑竟然不是！仔细再看，主板上是有sata接口的，只是没有sata的电源。此时灵机一动，将我的主机箱搬来，同颗颗的并排摆好，从里面引出电源线，然后把硬盘插在另一台电脑的主板上。开机！

啥也没有。

一开始还以为要什么驱动，找了半天也没得下。后来由于副师兄的出现，发现要在bios里面设置一下是否启用sata的主/从硬盘。于是OK了。

昨天是米国国庆节，听闻附近有烟火可看。晚上兴致勃勃的抱着相机赶到操场，却发现离得实在太远，烟火太小了。

想它这样一个堂堂国庆，却落得如此凄凉冷漠，唉，人少的可悲啊。

看了这么长时间的车，今天在师兄师姐的帮助下，第一次实战去看车。04年底的小雪，看着蛮新的。车主是个在AA工作的中年妇女，英语说得蛮好，一开始在电话里我都没听出来不是米国人。

师兄试开了一下，觉得除了有点颠簸之外，其他都还好。遂说去做mechanical check。那人道，反正也该做inspection了，不如一并做了罢。于是在那人的带领下，去了一个米国店做。那几个师傅比较专业的检查了一下之后，觉得车况很好。我也坦白的问他这个车我们花车主开的价买可否。他说还成罢。遂转向车主，小砍两下之后决定拿下此车。约定周一来交钱取车。

也许一切都太顺利了罢，回来之后颗颗注意到此人有lien，担心会有问题。网上一查，说这车的title不在此人手里，她是不能卖的。换句话说，即使签了sales form，亦有可能是illegal的。回想起来，当时那人说得好，一手交钱一手交车，但是没有title怎生了得。

想来想去，还是要说服那人先还清了lien再来商议转手之事为妙。

今日上传照片时觉得实验室无线网速度颇慢，于是想到了小叶提到的有线上网法。

根据百度的结果，以管理员身份运行命令行，输入：

netsh i i show in

得到类似结果：

我想该那个Idx为8的，于是乎

netsh -c "i i" add neighbors 11 "172.19.28.254" "00-11-92-ca-21-00"

了一下，得到错误信息：

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

改试过其他的Idx，得到相同的错误信息，或者：

Element not found

之流的错误。

Google之，讲Idx号直接改成"Local Area Connection"：

netsh -c "i i" add neighbors "Local Area Connection" "172.19.28.254" "00-11-92-ca-21-00"

重启，OK。
